2021 Ironman Triathlon World Championship is scheduled for October 9, 2021 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Kailua-Kona is the sunny outdoors capital of the Big Island. The western coast of the Big Island is known as the “Kona Side”, and Kailua-Kona is the lively center of it all. This historic seaside town sits in the middle of the Kona coast, a few miles south of the Kona International Airport (KOA).
Accommodations
PPS has arranged for array of accommodations in/around Kailua-Kona to meet diverse budgets and services.
Designated group lodging is at the Royal Kona Resort, where we have room block for $355 per night.

IRONMAN TRIATHLON, KONA
DAVID WILD
As Local Athlete, PPS Ambassador will share periodic updates about the race site, course and other pertinent information via our email, social media and zoom postings.
David Wild, a Kona-based triathlete, is a part-time teacher helping empower Native youth pursuing higher education. When he is not changing young lives, David, as an IRONMAN certified coach, can be found inspiring and training triathletes. While his resume includes 20 x Ironman 70.3 & 6 x Ironman including 2019 Kona, he is most proud of the overall win, as an age-grouper, at Lavaman Olympic Distance. David will be assisting us with creating memories on our visit to the Big Island.
